Tesla Critic Admits Mistake: ‘I was wrong’ (Electric Cars, Tesla Cars)

Teknikimobil.com – Interesting from several predictions of Tesla as a new company that is on the rise. One of Tesla’s critics is a Clinical Marketing Professor from NYU. He once predicted that Tesla would lose 80% or more in value. And it turns out he was wrong in his assessment and admitted it. While appearing on a podcast with veteran technology journalist Kara Swisher, Scott Galloway, he explained why. Namely, the mistake he made was because he did not understand the strengths of the products of the company from Silocon Valley.

What Happened to These Tesla Critics?

Earlier this month, an NYU Galloway Professor caused tension on social media. In his post on social media he predicted that Tesla would lose at least 80% of its value. Galloway emphasized that Tesla does not have “the scale to compete in well-managed, low-margin businesses.”

But reality seems to be the opposite of what Galloway predicted. Tesla’s third-quarter earnings were a far cry from those predictions. It was noted that Wall Street’s estimates were too high. Even TSLA crossed the USD 300 mark which gives a real picture of Tesla’s success, at least currently.

I was wrong on Tesla!

Galloway apparently did not realize and missed the capabilities of Tesla’s products. Unfortunately, this Professor actually owns a Model X and once admitted that he likes this all-electric SUV.

Even as the owner of one of Tesla’s products, Galloway remains critical of Tesla and its leadership. At the beginning of the year he predicted that TSLA would likely fall below USD 100 per share. He also showed that one of the causes of Tesla’s problems was its leadership problems. He stated that CEO “Elon Musk” could not control his emotions describing Tesla’s board as the “weakest” in the US.

Even leadership style is in the spotlight too. Galloway took issue with Elon Musk’s informal leadership style. It even mentions that these tech innovators don’t act like men.

So do you agree and persist with Galloway’s attitude?
